So, the other day, I was writing about Hideki Matsui and I linked to a couple of sounds I found online (as well as images of Matsui on the Yahoo sports pages). So, I came back, I was clicking on links in the blog (just to listen to the sounds myself) and I got sent to this image:




Which I found slightly ironic considering the sounds in question are were sampled from Toho company's copyrighted material (the original Godzilla films) and I would bet dollars to doughnuts the people running the website in question aren't paying any kind of money to Toho for using sound clips from their movies.

So I removed the links from the body of the text of the entry but if you want to paste them into a new browser window and hear the sounds the first one is for the picture:

I guess bandwidth piracy sucks but, piracy of copyrighted material is okay if you're making money off of it and forcing people to look at your sucky popup ads. Welcome to the weird ethical standards of the worldwide web.
